Volunteer Opportunities

Hope Communities has ongoing volunteer opportunities at our Neighborhood Center in Five Points as well as at our major properties around the city. Assignments include supervising after-school tutoring, providing office assistance, and helping with special events. Become a Faith Partner

For more than 25 years Hope Communities has endeavored to be a light on the hill in the communities we serve. Hope has worked with a number of faith communities throughout its history to offer an avenue for congregations to put their faith into action providing affordable housing and programs that assist individuals in developing a self-supporting lifestyle.

Faith partners can participate in the mission of Hope Communities by:

Sharing the vision and mission of your congregation so that we can determine ways to support each other.
Committing to pray for our residents, staff and the work of Hope Communities, or by joining our monthly prayer meeting at the Hope Communities Neighborhood Center .
Hosting our Faith Relations Coordinator Zenzal Carr to speak at your service or group meeting to share information about Hope Communities.
Participating in Hands for Hope Day and other Hope Communities events.
Sponsoring a Hope family at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Providing translation assistance in Spanish and other languages.

Buy-a-Brick at the Neighborhood Center

For $120 you will get a personalized brick placed in the courtyard pathway at the Hope Communities Neighborhood Center . Establish your support in the community, honor a loved one, or make a family gift.

For online giving, type buy-a-brick in the designation field. Then type the inscription exactly as wish for it to appear on your brick in the dedication field.
