Affordable Housing | Resident Programs

Hope Communities was formed in 1980 by a group of Denver citizens concerned about insufficient housing for people with low incomes.  While proceeding with the mission to build healthy communities by transforming deteriorated buildings into decent affordable housing, it soon became apparent that housing wasn't all the community needed.

At the request of residents, Hope Communities implemented education and community programs – giving residents a hand up, not a hand out. By providing after-school tutoring, training in computer literacy and financial management, job referrals, health screenings and many other programs, Hope Communities strives to help our residents stabilize and thrive.
