VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Homework Help Program Volunteer:

The organization’s Hidden Brook property in East Denver features 130 apartments, with 80% of the families refugees and immigrants. The Program Volunteer will work closely with the Resident Services Coordinator to assist children and youth with homework.

Homework Help Program schedule is every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:45-6:00; volunteers can choose one day, two days, or all three days to assist.

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check.

Treasure Store Volunteer:

Hope Communities hosts an annual holiday party at every property. Parents are able to select new, donated toys for their children free of charge, and enjoy a family-friendly party with their neighbors. Email info@hopecommunities.org with subject line: Treasure Store

Box pick up volunteer(s) needed to visit participating businesses at the end of November to pick up and delivery toy collection boxes back to Hope’s main office.

Toy sorting volunteer(s) needed to assist in sorting toys into appropriate age groups, and bagging toys to be sent to each property.
