Every year, Hope Communities organizes a sponsor-funded event: Hands for Hope Day. The event has great opportunities for corporate sponsorships and volunteer participation, and is great fun to attend!
This year’s Hands for Hope Day is going to be on Saturday, September 17th, 2011, the 13th annual Hands for Hope Day
Since 1999, Hope Communities' Hands for Hope Day has gathered hundreds of volunteers from around Metro Denver to make an immediate impact by completing service projects. The projects improve the health and wholeness of the community, unite citizens around a common cause, and raise awareness about the issues facing low-income neighborhoods and school halls.
Last year, Hands for Hope Day was held Saturday, September 18th, and had a turnout of more than 100 volunteers. Together we painted fences and school halls, dug holes, turned soil, picked weeds, cleaned up trash, and had a positive impact on the neighborhoods of Five Points, Curtis Park, and Denver uptown. A huge thank you to all our hard-working volunteers and generous sponors, who made this event possible! If you weren't able to join us last year, we hope you will make it out in 2011.

Wine Tasting for Hope Held in August, Wine Tasting for Hope is an evening of fun including wine tasting, appetizers, silent auction and door prizes to promote Hope's mission, and to show gratitude to Hope's generous sponsors and donors. This event presents a perfect opportunity to stock your wine cellar and support Hope, as a portion of the wine sales are donated to Hope’s programming. The happy-hour provides a great way to catch-up, meet new friends and be socially responsible.
