Given the disparity between housing prices and incomes in Denver, low-income households struggle to make ends meet. But Hope Communities provides hope by providing housing that is truly affordable, allowing a family's limited resources to cover rent, food, healthcare and transportation. According to a recent survey of Hope Communities' residents:

  • 73% live on less than $20,000 per year
  • 52% currently receive some type of public assistance; the state average is 2%
  • 58% of households have at least one child
2011 Hands for Hope Day is Saturday, September 17th.
