Tax Dollars and Sense teaches how to navigate the complex world of income taxes. This program explains how to take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit, maximize deductions, and keep track of receipts and bills. |
| Employment Preparation |
Our Program Manager works on a one-on-one basis with residents in need of job referrals, but attending this class is a good start to preparing for employment. It will prepare participants for resume creation, job interviews, and getting hired. |
| Money and Me |
Gaining knowledge about money management, how to save, how to budget, and how to spend wisely is a great start to alleviating money concerns. Money and Me is a program designed to cover all the basics of financial literacy. |
| Individual Development Accounts |
Learning to save is critical to financial success, and Individual Development Accounts help residents save for education, homeownership, and other purchases that are investments in the future. |
