Five Points has struggled for years to redevelop economically. Finally it has a real chance, one that is historic and holistic. On Wednesday, Gov. Bill Ritter signed an executive order designating Five Points — along with the towns of Rifle, Fowler and Monte Vista — as a pilot community for the new Sustainable Main Streets Initiative.
