Mr. Fullerton joined Hope Communities, Inc. in 2009, after a thirty-year career in real estate development. As President of The Fullerton Company, he developed over 200 new lofts in downtown and near downtown Denver. As Special Assistant to Mayor Federico Peña, Mr. Fullerton directed an overhaul of the City’s permitting process, and the design and construction of the city’s Permit Center. In addition, he oversaw over $400M in capital building projects, including the Colorado Convention Center, and the Buell Theatre.

Mr. Fullerton has also led housing efforts for the special needs community as a member of the Mental Health Corporation of Denver’s Board, and President of its housing arm, Sabin Corporation. As President of the Homebuilders Association he also championed housing for the disabled community.

Mr. Fullerton is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, and earned his J.D. and M. Ed. degrees from the University of Virginia.

Having retired in 2007, Ms. Parker joined Hope Communities, Inc. in late 2010, following over 30 years experience in real estate development, finance, administration and marketing. She previously served as an Executive Director of Amstar Group, Ltd., and independently consulted to real estate developers, and telecommunication providers. Ms. Parker previously served as Group Manager/CFO for a $450 million national homebuilding and mortgage operation, as an Investment Manager in First Chicago Corp.’s venture capital and investment subsidiary, and as a Senior Consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Ms. Parker is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where she earned her M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting.

Mrs. Robertson first joined Hope Communities, Inc. as a resident in 1991 in Carolton Arms Apartments. Later, in 1995, she joined the staff when she became the On-Site Manager for the Five Points Properties. In 2006, she became the Property Manager for Hidden Brook Apartments and in 2010 became the Regional Property Manager. In 2006 Hope helped Mrs. Robertson to purchase her first home through Hope’s Homeownership program. Her children have also participated in Hope’s programs; two were tutors in STRIVE, the after school program.

Mrs. Robertson is a graduate of the Community College of Denver, where she earned her associates degree.

Ms. Krump joined Hope Communities in 2008 with 20 years of accounting, human resource and administrative experience. She has a long history of working, and volunteering, with nonprofit agencies leading her to understand the intricacies of the business.

Ms. Krump is a graduate of the University in California, Davis, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Mr. Smith joined Hope Communities, Inc. in 2007, and has 25 years experience in property maintenance, property development, renovations and operations for nonprofits in the Denver area. His vast experience includes 18 years with Archdiocesan Housing, working in both Senior and Family Housing properties, and the distinction of Affordable Housing Management Association Maintenance Employee of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Region for 1997.

Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1978.

Mrs. Downs joined Hope Communities, Inc. in 2010 after 20 years experience in contracts and grants. She previously worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she reviewed State grant applications and managed contracts in the Superfund program. Prior to working for the U.S. E.P.A., she was a grant administrator for the Colorado Office of Energy Conservation.

Mrs. Downs is a graduate of the University of Denver, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.
